Helen has worked for Oswaldtwistle Mill, Lancashire Economic Partnership, Mid Pennine Arts and Oldham Heritage, Libraries and Arts, has 25 years’ freelance experience and her own creative business called Helen Russell Creations.
As Commercial Coordinator at Northern Roots, Helen manages the retail offer in the Welcome Building shop, sourcing local artists and businesses whose products align with Northern Roots’ mission. Helen works closely with our business community to help deliver social, environmental and economic benefits for Oldham, and manages corporate event bookings.
Helen believes that commercial success can be achieved in a considered and sustainable manner that meets the needs of visitors and people of Oldham.
At the weekend, Helen can be found at arts and crafts exhibitions, or strolling around a lake with her camera.
