Lantern Making – Family Thursday

Thursday 21st August, 10:30am – 12:30pm

Let’s get crafting outdoors! Enjoy a relaxing, creative lantern making session in our sensory Community Garden with the friendly Northern Roots team. Using pressed flower, petals and leaves of unique shapes and sizes, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind lantern inspired by nature and all it’s beautiful forms. Take your lantern home with a battery-operated tea light and light up your room with nature patterns!

You’ll also get to explore our Urban Farm, watch the bees buzzing in the apiary and do some wildlife spotting in our nature pond.

This session is suitable for children for aged 5 to 12 and their families. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets cost £3 per child and are free for adults.
