To celebrate autumn and our final harvest, we invite you to GATHER at Northern Roots.
Pop along to our last Urban Farm produce sale of the year where you can buy vegetables, herbs and flowers grown on our farm, Northern Roots honey produced by Hive5 Manchester, talk with our Growers, relax in our Community Garden, and enjoy live acoustic music from steelpan maestros Jamsalana.
We’ll be offering a range of activities including planting spring bulbs to take home, so do keep an eye out for updates.
Find out more about our brand-new Visitor Centre and Forestry Skills Centre, which opens in summer 2026, and meet our local Citizen Researchers. They would love to gather your input into a wide range of topics, including what you would like us to grow on the Urban Farm and what you would like to see on the menu of the Northern Roots café.

Cash or card accepted and please bring reusable bags. Everyone is welcome, including well-behaved dogs on leads.
