Saturday 27th September, 2pm – 5pm
To celebrate autumn and our final harvest, we invite you to GATHER at Northern Roots.
Pop along to our last Urban Farm produce sale of the year where you can buy vegetables, herbs and flowers grown on our farm, Northern Roots honey produced by Hive5 Manchester, talk with our Growers, relax in our Community Garden, and enjoy live acoustic music from steelpan maestros Jamsalana.
Join us for FREE spring bulb planting and positive intention setting with Louise – the perfect way to celebrate the equinox and welcome autumn. The daffodil bulbs you plant now will bloom in spring, symbolizing the growth of your intentions. This is suitable for all ages.
Have a moment of calm and join a Reiki session held in a beautiful outdoor setting by Karma Heart.
Indradhanush Yoga will be running inclusive family yoga sessions, all ages and abilities welcome!
Why not treat yourself to locally made cookies, cakes, and smoothies from Cookie Corner.
Repair Cafe will be on hand to fix household items such as clothing (adding buttons, patches, stitching, zips), electronics (such as laptops, household appliances, ect), bikes and toys.
You can also find out more about our brand-new Visitor Centre and Forestry Skills Centre, which opens in summer 2026, and meet our local Citizen Researchers. They would love to gather your input into a wide range of topics, including what you would like us to grow on the Urban Farm and what you would like to see on the menu of the Northern Roots café.
We look forward to welcoming you.
