Ndoh Sasua: A West African Farm to Fork Feast
After the GATHER celebration join chef Ngwafu Tansie for a very special farm to fork feast at Northern Roots, featuring live kora music!
To celebrate summer and the abundance of harvest, we invite you to GATHER at Northern Roots.
Pop along to our Urban Farm produce sale where you can buy vegetables, herbs and flowers grown on our farm, talk with our Growers, relax in our Community Garden, and enjoy live acoustic music from master kora player Jali Nyonkoling Kuyateh.
Grab Northern Roots honey produced by Hive5 Manchester and delicious treats from Cake O’Clock, and meet Manchester Fruit Tree Co-op and Karma Heart reiki. More stalls to be announced soon!
You can also meet the Northern Roots team and find out more about our brand-new Visitor Centre, which opens in summer 2026.
Want to get involved?
We’re offering a limited number of free stalls to local makers, growers, bakers, wellness practitioners and ethical traders.
If you’re interested in joining this unique celebration of food, craft, community and sustainability, please email info@northern-roots.uk for more information and to express your interest. We will finalise the stall holders by August 6th.
