Urban Farm Produce Sales

Our Urban Farm produce sales are back this summer!

We’re looking forward to throwing open the Urban Farm gates and welcoming new and familiar faces to Northern Roots. You’ll get the chance to explore our polytunnels, chat with our expert Growers and buy freshly picked veg, herbs and flowers grown in Oldham.

We experiment with growing unique and heritage varieties. We have 15 varieties of tomatoes, including unique Brad’s Atomic Grape, Tegeralla and Orange Jazz, as well as favourites such as salad, cherry and beef steak tomatoes. We also have Lemon cucumber, Necktargold French beans and many more unique varieties of veg you can’t find in the supermarket.

We’re passionate about people having access to high quality, locally grown produce and we ensure prices align with wholesale and supermarket prices.

You can relax in our Community Garden, watch dragonflies dart across the nature pond, or head off for an exploration of our 160-acres of woodland, moorland and meadows. We hope you make a day of it.
