Rebecca May

‘’In 2021, Northern Roots commissioned me for an outdoor arts event. I was truly inspired by the site and vision, and I always hoped to return to Northern Roots. I was delighted to join the team in 2023 for the ‘Beautiful Oldham – Why Not?’ project. My home is in Oldham, and I feel very privileged to work where I live. Northern Roots is a powerful and groundbreaking transformation project rooted in people and place, and it’s a pleasure to work so closely and co-create with Oldham people.’’ Rebecca, Heritage Engagement Manager
