Kate Hall

‘’Northern Roots’ core beliefs sit close to my heart and its ambition is mind-blowing! Working for Northern Roots makes me feel like I’m giving back to my local community and to me it strips back everyday life to reveal what really matters. And the fact it is so accessible makes it so unique.’’ Kate, Project Support Officer

Kate has varied experience volunteering as a Countryside Ranger for Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council and working with the Peak District National Park Authority education team. Her love for the great outdoors led her to gain a HNC in Countryside Management and become a qualified Forest School Leader, allowing Kate to share her passion and enthusiasm for the natural world with others.

At Northern Roots, Kate enjoys meeting and working with like-minded folk from all walks of life. Working on the National Lottery Heritage Funded project she supports local people and is excited to learn more about the heritage and natural history of Oldham.

A busy mum of two boys, Kate enjoys attending gym classes and running outdoors as it allows her to stay connected to her local area and its wildlife.
