Gaz is Head of Legal Services for the University of Manchester’s Innovation Factory Limited and assists the University to commercialise the creative outputs of its researchers and academics. Gaz specialises in a mix of intellectual property law, corporate and commercial law.
Gaz has previously worked for local government, a central government department and an international law firm. Gaz has extensive experience of working with FTSE100, FTSE250 and a wide range of public sector clients providing commercial and procurement advice across a number of sectors including IT, retail, transport and health.
Gaz is based in Oldham and has worked in the voluntary sector for over 15 years and understands the challenges faced by the charitable sector. She has extensive experience of working with under-represented groups and is looking to assist Northern Roots to commercialise its operations, stay relevant in a digital world, reach different audiences and, where appropriate, prepare for change.
Gaz is happiest when she is outdoors, challenging young people and learning new skills.
